Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of travel eSIM data plans from iTechSim Pty Ltd (“iTechSim”, “we”, “us”), Melbourne, Australia. By buying or using an iTechSim eSIM you agree to these Terms. Please read the refund section carefully — eSIMs are digital products and special rules apply once they are activated.

1. What we provide

iTechSim sells prepaid, data-only travel eSIMs supplied by licensed mobile carriers and aggregation partners. Plans provide mobile data only — they do not include voice calls or SMS. Each plan is single-use, has a fixed data allowance and validity period shown before purchase, and expires automatically at the end of that period. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel.

2. Your responsibilities

Before purchasing, you confirm that your device supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. Compatibility is your responsibility — we provide a free compatibility checker, and once an eSIM is delivered we cannot refund it for device incompatibility (see Refunds). You are responsible for installing the eSIM correctly using the instructions we provide, and for enabling data roaming on the iTechSim line at your destination.

3. When your plan starts

Your plan’s validity period begins only when the eSIM first connects to a mobile network at your destination — not when you buy or install it. You may install the eSIM any time before you travel without starting the countdown.

4. Pricing and payment

All charges are processed in Australian dollars (AUD) by our payment processor, Stripe. Prices displayed in other currencies are indicative estimates only; your card is charged in AUD. We never see or store your full card details. Prices may change at any time, but the price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that order.

5. Delivery

Your eSIM is delivered by email — typically within a minute of payment — as a QR code with installation instructions, plus access to your dashboard. It is your responsibility to provide a correct email address at checkout. If your email does not arrive, you can retrieve your eSIM any time from your dashboard.

6. Refunds and cancellations

Due to the digital nature of eSIM data profiles, refunds cannot be issued once the eSIM QR code has been scanned or activated, unless the service fails due to a technical network fault on our end.

If you have not yet installed or connected the eSIM, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase. If the eSIM fails to work due to a technical or network fault on our side or our supplier’s side and our support team cannot resolve it with you, you are entitled to a full refund regardless of the 7-day window.

7. Fair use

Where a plan is described as “unlimited”, a fair-use policy applies: full-speed data up to a stated daily allowance, after which speed is reduced for the remainder of that day. The applicable fair-use limit is shown on the plan before purchase. Plans are for personal use and must not be used for commercial redistribution, continuous machine-to-machine traffic, or any unlawful purpose.

8. Service and coverage

Coverage and speeds depend on the local carrier’s network and your location and device, and are not guaranteed everywhere. We are a reseller of carrier data and are not liable for outages, throttling, or coverage gaps caused by the underlying networks, except as set out in the Refunds section and as required by law.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a plan is limited to the amount you paid for that plan. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “last updated” date reflects the current version, and material changes apply only to orders placed after they take effect.
