Can I top up if I run out mid-trip?

On most total-data plans, yes — from your dashboard in two taps, and it lands on the same eSIM within a minute with no new QR code. Daily plans can't be topped up (they refresh every day instead), so if topping up matters to you, pick a total-data plan; your dashboard shows the option when the plan supports it.

Can I make normal phone calls with this?

It’s data-only, so no regular calls or SMS — but WhatsApp, FaceTime and Messenger calls all work fine over data, and your home SIM stays active beside it.
